Step-by-step Process

At Pancake & Franks we begin with a personal design consultation followed by a detailed cost estimate for design and printing. Below you’ll find a step-by-step guide to this process. We understand all projects are not a one formula process and that each client is unique. We are here to help you find the best possible options for your wedding invitations.

 A. Choose a design from our wedding collection along with fonts, colors, and a la carte accessories such as embossing seals or custom postage stamps.

B. If you prefer a custom wedding invitation design, we’ll explore your ideas for inspiration together. Creativity has no boundaries so please provide images from your Pinterest page, Instagram photos, magazine tears, bookmarks from websites, blogs, and any other examples you may have. The more imagery and ideas, the more we can understand your wedding vision.

Once we have explored your initial design ideas let's review the details. We are available to assist you with style selections, color recommendations, wording, invitation etiquette and other ideas. You do not have to be in San Francisco to make an appointment. We are available via Skype, Face Time, telephone and email.

Order Form

After we have discussed your ideas, needs, and budget we kindly ask you to complete our order form so we can provide you a cost estimate. If at any time we have confused you or if you have trouble answering a question we are here to guide you.

Estimate & Contract

After we receive your order form we will in turn provide you a cost estimate. It can take us between 4-6 business days to research pricing for you. Next we provide you a contract, which includes design/printing dates and deadlines, and in turn you provide us a deposit along with the wording of your wedding suite.

Pancake & Franks then designs your wedding suite. You may not hear from us during this stage, but we’ve not forgotten you, we’re simply very focused on your design. Upon signed approval of the final design the work will go on press.

Printing & Delivery

When your order is complete and ready for shipment, the remaining balance is required to be paid in full before we can provide delivery.
