Growing up under the sunsets of the Sonoran desert and raised in a large family of artists provided Pancake & Franks creative director, Stacy Pancake an early bedrock for a life-long career in graphic design.
Since its start in 2002, Pancake & Franks has been celebrated and featured in everything from Martha Stewart Weddings to Real Simple, The Knot, Bon Appétit, and O Magazine, among others. She’s been featured in five design books, including Domino the Book of Decorating, the WGSN Global Style Network report (x3), and was one of the first designers to lead the greeting card industry into sustainability.
Her self-proclaimed perfectionism lends a beautiful and minimalistic approach to the Pancake & Franks Collection. This has become Stacy's signature style that is carried through to wedding invitations, greeting cards, t-shirts and custom pieces from packaging to logo designs.
Stacy thrives in creating simple, subtle, and unobtrusive beauty. In her words, and on her path, the Japanese concept of Shibui encapsulates her design aspirations.
